Where are your products made?
We are a woman-owned business located in Evergreen Colorado. All our products are handcrafted in our dedicated local facility.
What are your hours?
8am to 5pm Monday-Friday
Do you have a physical storefront?
No, we do not have a physical storefront. You can shop our full collection online. Visit our Find Us page to see which local stores carry our products and to find upcoming festivals and events where you can shop in person.
What makes your products so good?
We don’t cut corners when it comes to ingredients. Every bar of soap and body product is handcrafted with premium oils and butters from trusted suppliers. Made in small batches at our dedicated Evergreen, Colorado facility, resulting in a rich, nourishing, and long-lasting experience for your skin.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
We offer FREE shipping with orders over $50.00 For other orders we ship via USPS (first-class/priority) within 3-5 business days. Our standard shipping is usually between $7 to $15, depending on the size of the order and USPS rates. Most customers receive their package within a week of ordering. h
Can I pick up my order locally to save on shipping?
Yes! If you live in Evergreen or the surrounding areas, select “Local Evergreen Pickup” option at checkout. We will waive the shipping fee and coordinate a local meeting or pickup with you. We may even be able to do a contactless delivery to your home.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of our product, we do not accept returns. However, if you are unhappy with your order or it was received damaged contact us at www.brookforestsoap@gmail.com to resolve the issue. We strive to have happy customers!
Do you use lye to make your soap?
Yes. You can’t make real soap without lye. However, there is no lye left in the finished bar. When sodium hydroxide aka lye is mixed with oils a chemical reaction called saponification occurs. This process turns the lye and oils into the gentle, moisturizing soap our customers love.
How do I store my unopened soap?
To keep your soap smelling great and looking fresh, store unopened bars in a cool, dry environment out of direct sunlight. Avoid humid bathrooms for long-term storage until you are ready to lather up!
How can I make my open soap last longer?
Your soap will last longer if the bar is not sitting in direct contact with water when not in use. If possible, use a soap dish that offers drainage or a soap lift so it can dry between uses.
Can I send a gift directly to someone else?
Yes! We specialize in gifting. You can purchase our curated Gift Boxes or select individual products, and we’ll ship them directly to your recipient. We’re happy to include a gift card or personalized note. We take great pride in our packaging—every order arrives beautifully presented and ready to impress.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards via Square. You can also pay with PayPal or Venmo.
