Ingredients

Avocado Oil is derived from the avocado fruit, contains vitamins A, D, and E, protein, carbohydrates, amino acids, chlorophyll and glycerides of many fatty acids. The amount of nutrients in this oil are simply innumerable. Our skin easily absorbs avocado oil and responds well to its healing quality.

Almond Oil is renowned for its rich concentration of oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids.

Castor Oil is extracted from the Castor Bean Plant. It produces an amazing lather to the finished product and acts as a humectant by attracting and retaining moisture to the skin.

Coconut Oil contains medium chain triglycerides similar to those found in the body’s natural oil sebum. It also contains a group of germ fighting fatty acids that kill bacteria, viruses and fungi that can cause skin infections. It works to heal the skin, encouraging the shedding of excess layers of dead skin cells.

Meadowfoam Oil extracted from the seeds of a Pacific Northwest native annual, Limananthes alba. Containing over 98% long-chain fatty acids. It is known for its moisturizing properties. It is a very earth-friendly product. The Meadowfoam plant is a sustainable and renewable resource. Often used by farmers for a rotation crop, it also helps to bring in additional income.

Olive Oil benefits to the body have been widely known since 500 B.C. The advantages, however, are not just limited to inside the body. Olive oil soap can also be healthful to the skin. Rich in vitamin E and beta carotene, as well as being an antioxidant, it stimulates new cell generation, and gives skin a youthful look. Extremely mild, it also helps people with a variety of skin conditions.

Mango butter is a soft, creamy butter that has a very mild scent. It’s extracted from the de-shelled fruit kernels of the mango tree. Its rich nutrients include vitamin A, vitamin C, palmitic acid, arachidic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid. That’s why it’s so effective for healing and improving the appearance of your skin.

Shea Butter comes from the nut of the Karite shea tree that is indigenous to Africa. Raw, unrefined shea butter contains vitamins and minerals such as vitamins A and E, as well as essential fatty acids. It is gentle enough for babies and people with sensitive skin. It soothes and softens dry, chapped skin and is very nourishing to all skin types.

Carrot Extract is high in vitamins A and E and beta carotene. It is soothing to chapped and uncomfortable skin and thought to bring moisture to skin.

Kaolin Clay is perfect for sensitive skin. Kaolin clay (also known as China Clay or White Clay) is the gentlest of the various clays available. It isn’t over-drying and gently stimulates circulation to the area of application.

Rose Clay is considered a Kaolin Clay that is commonly used to clean and purify the skin. It has mild exfoliating powers and like all clays, helps to detoxify the skin by drawing impurities from pores.

Honey is one of Mother Nature’s most versatile foods. It not only serves as a delicious, all-natural sweetener, but it’s a helpful tool in supporting a healthy body and glowing appearance. Honey is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture to your skin.

Tussah Silk Fibers will give your soap more shine, more lather, and a nice “silky” feel. This silk is cruelty free- the fibers are collected from the cocoons after the silk worms have emerged.

Exfoliating products

Oatmeal, Pumice, Sea Salt, Poppy Seeds, Natural Jojoba Beads, Coffee Grounds.

Exfoliants are material with irregular textures used to release debris that collects on the skin’s surface. They add texture to the soaps lather which increases the soaps cleansing qualities, removing dirt and dead skin cells while stimulating the healthier cells below.

We use colorants that are skin safe, as well as natural colorants.

The Sisal Wash Cloth and Soap Holder are made from 100% renewable sisal fiber – for those who seek a kinder and gentler exfoliator! Durable and long-lasting, this cloth can be machine washed and dried.  A small loop on one corner allows for easy storage. Sisal, with the botanical name Agave sisalana, is a species of Agave native to southern Mexico but widely cultivated and naturalized in many other countries. It yields a stiff fiber used in making various products.

The Pumice stones are natural volcanic pumice, with no added material.
