What the heck is a seed ball, and what do I do with it?
Seed Balls are wildflower seeds mixed with compost and clay, and then dried.
Wild flowers can give a refreshed bright look to any garden. They are easy to grow and care for and create an incredible palette of colors, textures and foliage to your garden. Our Butterfly Friendly Wildflower seed balls contain Impatiens, Petunia, Columbines, Coneflower, Goldenrod and other special seeds. Butterflies can be a welcome addition to your garden, not only because of their beauty, but also because of their usefulness in pollinating flowers.
Seed Balls are a fun, easy way to garden, and make perfect gifts for your flower-loving friends, or as a gift for yourself!
Plant them in a pot or in your garden. You may even want to become a Guerilla Gardener and toss them in those blank vacant lots on the side of the road.
They are packaged in an Eco-Friendly recycled cardboard container, 8 to a package.
The seeds are a combination of Wildflower Seeds, with some Annuals and Perennials mixed in.
To use: Plant, water, provide sunshine, enjoy.
Note: most wildflowers commonly bloom the second season after planting, patience is a virtue.
